Gaps

Свободное слово / Free Word journal masthead (Chertkov’s abroad press, 1898–1905): No image found on Commons. A search for Freeword.jpg returned a 2008 Moscow almanac unrelated to Chertkov. No masthead, title page, or photograph of the Tuckton/Christchurch printing operation was found on Commons. This is the one genuine gap. The journal is documented in bibliographic sources (British Library, Hoover Institution) but no digitised cover image is on Commons.

Мысли мудрых людей (1903) / На каждый день — title page scans: The PSS PDF volumes (Vol. 42–44) contain the texts but are not scanned title-page images. No standalone scan found on Commons. The Круг чтения 1906 title page (Ma1-055-.jpg) serves as the compression-endpoint representative for the whole calendar-of-wisdom cluster.

Late Tolstoy at his writing desk (1900–1910): The Prokudin-Gorsky 1908 colour portrait covers the “late Tolstoy at work” target. The 1907 chess photo (taken by Chertkov himself) provides a secondary Chertkov-era Tolstoy image. No dedicated “at the writing desk” photograph was found on Commons, but the 1908 portrait is the canonical late-period image and is the stronger choice.
